TO RELIVE THE BEST OF MY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Spread the love

I have always loved fishing, it is to date what I do whenever I miss my dada as I lost him last year. Life is what you make it he says and though it is not the most original line it was special coming from him as I saw how hard to put food on the table and have a roof over our head. He was not a man who had a lot to spare, yet as a child I have never felt deprived or felt as if we lacked anything because he always made sure that our hearts were content. Since he could not afford to take us to the mall and buy us a toy what he did was take us for long walks in the parks or fishing expeditions in the lake nearby and that has made of for the best part of my life ever.I am now a successful professional with his blessing and I like to continue to fish often as I believe he would have liked that and quite strangely I feel very connected to him when I do.

Since dad is not around it has been difficult coming across someone I like to go fishing with. To some it’s just fishing, away from the wives, kids and the daily drama of life in general but for me fishing is therapeutic and like I said something that makes me revisit how it feels to be in the waters with dad. But lucky for me I have come across the best fishing charter in town, my first option would be dad hands down but if he is not around I will take the best I can get. They manure all vessels including snapper charters, and tuna charters and come highly recommended by every member of the local fishing community and is definitely one of the most reliable and successful businesses in our town.

I’m a sucker for snappers, there are a un-doubtfully one of the best games in the waters and during the months of October, November and December many people including myself go snapper crazy”. James is the best skipper to commission snapper charters Port Phillip Bay and I have more than once seen him work his magic and turn around a ‘’good” fishing trip in to an ‘’awesome” one. During snapper season they go out to sea trice a day; between 5am and 10am, between 10am and 3pm, between 3pm and 8pm and each trip is approximately 5 blissful hours of you, the sea and a great catch of snapper. All in all fishing is a great experience, one you can treasure for a life time!
